Greetings from UTTAR PRADESH DIABETES Association. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce you to a landmark association of health care providers working in the field of diabetes in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Association now enters the silver jubilee year of its inception.
The association was the visionary thought of our founding father Prof Dr A R Sircar who unfortunately is no longer with us. He could probably see the upcoming explosion in the realm of diabetes knowledge and could understand the need for disseminating this knowledge to most physicians practising in the state of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. What started as a small fire of information and knowledge in 2001 in form of UPDA Conference in Varanasi has now turned into a huge conflagrationof learning , research and sharing of wisdom and expertise .
Uttar Pradesh Diabetes Association (UPDA) is a professional organization committed to promoting excellence in diabetes care by bringing together healthcare professionals, supporting scientific activities, and creating awareness for better prevention and management of diabetes.
UPDA organizes annual conferences, Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, workshops, and scientific meetings that encourage knowledge sharing and professional development in diabetes care.
The association promotes evidence-based diabetes management by providing access to national and international clinical guidelines while encouraging best practices among healthcare professionals.
Through its network of members and local chapters, UPDA supports collaboration among healthcare professionals and promotes awareness initiatives to improve diabetes prevention, early diagnosis, and patient care.
